Ha Giang– Your colourful scenic Far North drive

This region hasn’t been discovered by mass tourism yet and offers the more discerning traveller a unique opportunity to learn more about Vietnam and the different ethnic minorities who live in this enchanting part of the world. Recognized as the Karst Plateau Global Geopark by UNESCO-supported Global Geoparks Network (GNN) in 2010, Dong Van is the only Global Geoparks in Vietnam and the second in South East Asia. Known as a remote place in the rooftop area, Dong Van has breathtaking scenery and outstanding geo-diversity with diversified ethnic cultures. Dong Van Plateau is appreciated by international geography experts because of its full data on mineral geology and environmental resources. Particularly, UNESCO highly appreciates the cultural identity of the local ethnic minority peoples.

Continue with a drive over the Ma Pi Leng Pass where you can see and enjoy beautiful mountain ranges and the silver Nho Que River flowing below.
